BODY PSYCHOTHERAPY
ExpiredThe difficulties we face are manifested physically, but also in the way we think and feel. body psychotherapy includes dialogue and focuses on what the body is trying to tell us through posture, breathing and sensations.
By paying attention to what comes to the surface during the session, we give space to feelings, words and actions that did not have the opportunity to be expressed in the past. Over time, the client learns to recognize and express their needs, as well as to live their daily life more fully.

Body psychotherapy can help with most personal and interpersonal challenges. This includes stress, which manifests in various forms, such as irritability, exhaustion, pain, insomnia, and decreased interest in life.

During a session, there are different ways to work, depending on the needs of the client. The client may remain seated and engage in dialogue with the psychotherapist or may be asked to lie down to make greater contact with the body, the breathing, and the senses. Other times, they can explore themselves from an upright position or they can be offered biodynamic massage.
They may, also, be offered materials to draw or write. So there are many tools through which the client knows more about themselves with their psychotherapist. Safety, love, and compassion are the gifts of the psychotherapist to the client to begin their journey towards deeper self-exploration.
